Anyone who’s traveled or gone out to eat with children knows that keeping them entertained is more than a remedial challenge. You have to come armed with a bag full of items to keep them busy while you wait for food. It’s not easy! On a shopping trip I stumbled on a great idea from Sam & Bellie called the Chalkmat. It’s a BPA, PVC and Lead Free reusable (and wipeable!) placemat… but when you flip it over it becomes a chalkboard to entertain your little one while you wait. There is even a little pouch for the chalk! I found one at Target weirdly, but they sell laminated mats and cloth mats on their website Sam & Bellie. No need for those wasteful disposable placemats anymore!
