Review: Foogo Food Thermos

The Foogo food thermos has been my latest safer food storage find. For most of my son’s solid food life, I’ve been pretty much devout about making homemade food.

He started on the plain old Gerber organics, but it was short-lived. Yes, it’s convenient, but it’s also expensive. I wanted my son to have diverse eating tastes and a love for food, but I also wanted to see what was going into that food before my eyes. That said, whenever we went out, I caved to convenience. It’s hard to carry homemade baby food when you’re out all day.  But I still preferred for him to have homemade.

Foogo Food Thermos Is Perfect For Baby Foods, Hot Foods, And Even Ice Cream

So when I found out that Foogo was coming out with a food container, I was ecstatic. It was the first of the Foogo line that I purchased, and I fell instantly in love with it! Its the perfect leakproof container to hold baby food, and lunch items like warmed soup. We even once took it to the park in the summer with ice cream inside it, and it stayed frozen!

I also like that the screw-on lid is not too big. A toddler might have to work to get it open, but older kids will be fine with it.

You’ll know how sturdy they are if you’ve already read Kathy’s review on the Foogo Insulated Bottle. The inside holds plenty of food (10 ounces) if you have a babe on purees or a young toddler. It surprised me how much space is in this thing. I can fit two meals for my son in here. Now, I don’t have to compromise for convenience anymore. I love it.
