Hi, thanks for the review!
Well, i use yes to carrots shampoo and one of the best things about it is knowing that it's mostly natural ingredients and it won't damage my hair (even more than it is). I can use it without having to worry if its just another "chemical bomb" to my hair :P
It smells nice, it's cheap - regarding the quantity-, and it leaves my hair soft.

The only bad thing, which only seems to happen with me, is that it makes my hair get greasy quickly. In the end of the day i feel like the roots are oily and it seems like it doesn't let my hair absorb the serum, neither
leave in conditioner. Result, it looks nice half day after washing, then it gets quickly dry in the ends and greasy in the roots.

This doesn't happen with my old shampoo, but this last one has way to much chemicals including SLS. So i'm kinda stuck between both...

According to the Yes to Carrots website, their products to not contain phthalates. They are not 100% natural however but most affordable price point products will not be.

Just wondering about the fragrance that is in the shampoo. I noticed that it said "fragance" in the ingredient list but thought that most fragrances contained harmful chemicals. Is their fragrance safe?

I have been communicating with Yes to Carrots regarding what they use for fragrance. They tell me it is not phthalates, which is good, but they could be more cooperative in giving info in my opinion. I am holding off on buying their products until I see that they have signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics and have given their complete ingredients to Environmental Working Group. thanks for your review.

Thank you for reviewing this! I've used the conditioner and have the shampoo waiting. I really like the product, but wasn't completely sure how safe all of the ingredients were. Yay!

Also, just saw Yes to baby Carrots! products at Target last night. I'll definitely be checking those out as well.

Thanks for this review. I love John Masters as well, but it's so EXPENSIVE! Are there other shampoos and conditioners that you would recommend??

I have to say. I tried this too with the hopes that it would be a convenient option, but I was really disappointed with the conditioner. I have to watch what I use on my hair, because I have a scalp that is highly susceptible to being. When I used the Say Yes to Cucumber conditioner, I was itching constantly. Had to mark them off my options list. Thanks for reviewing though. I did like the shampoo and had wondered what you guys thought of them.
