Hello! Thank you all for participating in my fun 5K Facebook Fans celebration. I know it petered out but after 2 straight weeks of posting giveaways I had to take a break and get back to what I need to do – finish my recommendations for Sunscreens for 2012. I am working on it as fast as I can and yes, I know the EWG Report for 2012 came out and I do not agree with every single one on the lists. So hopefully you can use both to make your choices. It’s coming soon, I promise!
While you’re waiting patiently… I wanted to share with you that I have been asked to participate as a Green Living Expert, along with Big Green Purse, for EcoCentricMom! I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten emails from you, the moms, the dads, the shoppers of the green world, to express your frustration on how much money we spend trying to make the right choices. I try to help as much as I can with reviews and cheat sheets, but that can only take you so far. What I cant do is give you the personal experience you need to find the right products to fit your life. This is where EcoCentric Mom comes in. It’s a fun little membership service that you can subscribe to so you can sample eco-friendly and green safe products in your own home each month, without spending a fortune.
Here’s how it works: You sign up and then you can select a Membership Box to be delivered to your home once a month. Inside will be products tailored to your lifestyle. There is the Mom-to-Be Discovery Box which will feature productsthat are safe for the new mommy and baby, The Mom Discovery Box which will feature skin care, healthy home, and organic products for Moms in every stage of motherhood. And of course the Baby Discovery Box which will provide a sampling of products fit for baby which could be anything from toys to baby food and bath time care. Each month a new box will come with new products to try out. Neat huh? I’ll be featuring one of the 3 boxes here on SafeMama so you can get a peek of what’s inside and what you can expect to find in them. Inside the boxes you will also find educational tips and tricks from the lovely EcoCentricMom Experts!
Moms shop. Moms research. As a result, parents tend to spend a ton of money on products that might not work. This is the prefect way to explore your options without killing your bank account. You’ll also be exposed to products you might not have otherwise known about. I’m excited to see what’s in store for the members!
I am very honored to have been chosen to share my knowledge with the EcoCentricMom members and I hope you’ll check it out!
