Giveaway: BABYBJÖRN Travel Crib Light

criblightI have another great giveaway for our SafeMama readers from BabyBjörn!  Have you ever set up a pack n’ play?  I can’t tell you how many times I struggled to get them set up even though I’ve done it 100 times, I still stand there yanking on the side rails trying to get them to stay taught.  I eventually get it but what a pain.  BabyBjörn has a great product called the BabyBjörn Travel Crib Light.  Which is a lightweight portable travel crib that sets up in seconds.  Don’t believe me? Check out their clever video demonstrating how fast and easy it is.  That looks a lot easier than mine is to set up!

It weighs only 11lbs and is light and easy to carry in its carrying case. Soft fabric makes it snug and cozy for your child. Both the mattress cover and the bed fabric can be machine-washed. The mattress cover and all fabric parts that come into contact with your child have been approved in accordance with the Oeko-Tex Standard .

BabyBjörn is giving away 5 brand spanking new BabyBjörn Travel Crib Light’s to 5 of our lucky readers.

I would love to win this baby bjorn travel crib, I have twins due in one week! Looking through their other products I like the variety of sizes on their potty chairs and would buy one of the small ones and the one that sits on top of the toilet seat.

  16. Carol on December 2nd, 2009 12:59 am

I just bought a Pack N’ Play for an upcoming vacation and have mastered setting it up, but the end rails seem to be a pain to collapse, so this travel bed would be a welcome replacement! The soft bib would also be handy to have for my 8-month-old, and with potty training looming on down the road, all of those bathroom products look handy, too.

My favorite product that I own is the BABYBJÖRN Baby Carrier Air. It is so comfortable and my 3 month old loves being in it! I would really like to have one of the Travel Crib Lights, BABYBJÖRN Babysitter Balance Air and the BABYBJÖRN Wooden Toy for Babysitter. I love the products this company makes and I am a proud supporter and loyal customer!

  19. coll on December 2nd, 2009 1:19 am

wow…. the travel crib makes me drool, especially after having been on the road this past weekend…runner up (we have a carrier, albeit a hand-me down) would be a potty, as that is coming up on the toddler’s to-do list here… maybe in time to only have the newborn in diapers? dream on, self….

  20. Lea Zwettler on December 2nd, 2009 1:47 am

I just found out baby bjorn makes bibs for their carriers. I needed this for my drooler now with number two due soon I need more!

  21. Jackie H on December 2nd, 2009 2:00 am

I love your post because I always have the same problem with the pack n plays. A friend has this portable crib and it looked great! Another friend has the bouncy seat and I’d love to get one of those as well. Traveling and home life with the 2nd will be challenging enough without having great gear to make things easier.

  33. Elizabeth on December 2nd, 2009 3:11 am

I didn’t know that had potties! I’d so use ones of those!

  34. Adelaide on December 2nd, 2009 3:20 am

The toilet trainer and organic babysitter please!

  35. Jill M on December 2nd, 2009 3:23 am

My twins love their Baby Bjorn Babysitters! I plan on getting them Smart Potties when it’s time for training.

  36. Lisa V on December 2nd, 2009 3:25 am

I love this travel crib. We are using the pack n’ play now but this seems so much smaller. We are just starting to make our biweekly trips to Mammoth Mountain and this would come in handy. I also love the cover for the baby carrier. I just bought the air carrier and a cover would be great for these colder months. Good job BabyBjorn.

I’ve been sighing over this crib ever since I had my first child two years ago. I already had a pack and play from my baby shower so I couldn’t justify buying it. I’m due in a few months with baby number 2 and this would be wonderful! I’d also love the potty chair because we’re hoping to start potty training our little guy soon. Thanks for the great giveaways!

  56. Val on December 2nd, 2009 1:39 pm

I could use a Baby Bjorn potty chair

  57. Shannon on December 2nd, 2009 1:44 pm

I also joined your FB group, now follow you on twitter (I’m canucklehead_) and I tweeted (http://twitter.com/canucklehead_/statuses/6269315270)! 3 extra entries! Thanks so much!

  58. Jen M. on December 2nd, 2009 2:12 pm

I love the Baby Bjorn front carriers. I have the original myself, and have tried a few other makes as well. I also have the bib attachment for the front carrier. As my son starts eating foods the soft bibs look great and their Toilet Trainer looks pretty cool – with the non-slip plastic for the bottom. The travel light crib would be great for me, because my husband and I travel quite a bit. Our families are in different states and lugging the pack and play is cumbersome. It would be a awesome change for me, as a smaller framed woman, having something that is only 12 lbs in comparison to 20 lbs.

  59. Laura on December 2nd, 2009 2:12 pm

Travel crib looks great! I think there training seat is great! Used it much more than a separate kid potty.

  60. shelley mcdowell on December 2nd, 2009 2:31 pm

Wow that’s convenient. I’ve never seen a travel crib as portable as this one. Bravo bjorn. I love the fact that it opens up so quicklyy and easily.

    we love our synergy carrier!

I LOVE the soft bib, potty trainer, and babysitter balance!!

  66. Lynn on December 2nd, 2009 3:09 pm

I love BabyBjorn! I frequently went for walks with the baby using the Air Carrier, especially to the lake. I also used the air carrier when I went back to tae kwon do so my baby could “participate.” And I agree with poster #19…the travel crib also makes me drool. Now the baby is 19 months, and I’ve really got my eye on that long-sleeved smock and the toilet trainer…

  67. Joanne on December 2nd, 2009 3:29 pm

We have been using the carrier and it’s really great, comfortable to both baby and parent. This crib looks cool and safe, would love to try it out.

  68. Jaime on December 2nd, 2009 3:37 pm

I would love this travel crib- perfect for the holidays! I also love their new organic baby carriers!

  69. Andrea Walker on December 2nd, 2009 3:59 pm

I love the concept of the travel crib as we often visit friends and need a safe place for our little lady to nap. A crib that is light weight a easy to set up would be a dream! The bjorn plate/spoon would be handy also as we have a little one showing a strong interest in wanting to feed herself!

  70. Steven on December 2nd, 2009 4:14 pm

Wow, that’s a great travel crib, and I love their video demo. Now that I have a daughter on the way, a lot of their mobility products look really cool!

  71. Steven on December 2nd, 2009 4:15 pm

I am also following @safemama on Twitter now. Thanks for the giveaway and great links and info!

  72. Lindsay on December 2nd, 2009 4:27 pm

This pack and play sounds wonderful! I have a bad back and therefore, always have to rely on my husband to haul around the pack and play :(

I sure could have used a bib for my bjorn carrier with my first! He threw up all the time and none of the bibs I had were big enough. Maybe I’ll get one for the second…

  73. meghan on December 2nd, 2009 4:33 pm

i’m a big baby bjorn fan- the carriers, the potty chair and toilet trainer – we have them all. but the travel crib looks amazing! did you see the video – a grandma putting it together in 21 seconds?!? i also love that it’s 11 pounds & that it folds up flat. We have baby #2 coming in a few months and anything that will make our cross country trips to visit family easier (and lighter) is worth trying. the new organic carrier would be a close second…

  74. Melanie Chelpka on December 2nd, 2009 4:34 pm

I think the babysitter balance organic is something in which I need to invest. I think my baby would enjoy it.

  75. Paola on December 2nd, 2009 4:46 pm

The travel crib will be ideal for our upcoming trip to Mexico. We have the bouncer, potty chair, bib, baby carrier and plate and spoon set. I will be purchasing the toilet trainer next month. I can’t say enough about how great Babyjorn products are.

  76. Shannon on December 2nd, 2009 5:07 pm

I would really be glad to have this healthier travel crib for my little girl!

The pink smart potty is nice.. shorter combined with a removable piece for easy cleaning. : )

  77. Shannon on December 2nd, 2009 5:42 pm
  78. Melody on December 2nd, 2009 5:52 pm

This would be fabulous to have. Baby due in May! The bibs and the babysitter also look wonderful to have. We used their toilet trainer with our first and it was fabulous!

  79. Julie Williams on December 2nd, 2009 5:53 pm

I would love to have this crib! I also would really like the Baby Bjorn Soft Bib, and Plate & Spoon.

The travel crib light looks wonderful and will be a great help as we travel cross country to visit with relatives. The eat and play smock would be excellent for painting time and for eating ooey gooey cheesy spaghetti. Our daughter Eliote is also potty training and the little seat trainer would be great so she could use our “big” toilet. We love this company.

  84. Tara on December 2nd, 2009 6:13 pm

I’m on my 3rd baby and have always wanted one of the babybjorn baby carriers but have never had the extra $ to buy one!!!

  85. Sophia Chan on December 2nd, 2009 6:15 pm

The travel crib is awesome and the toilet trainer will come in handy soon.

  86. Kallie Gay on December 2nd, 2009 6:30 pm

I’d like to try the Smart Potty. Getting our little boy out of diapers before his new sister arrives would be wonderful!

  87. Christina on December 2nd, 2009 6:33 pm

We already love our Bjorn potty seat, but the babysitter would be great for our new baby!

  88. Michele H. on December 2nd, 2009 6:34 pm

What a great invention! I hate baby-prison pack-and-plays, so never got one. That leaves us borrowing one when we travel which is a pain. I also love the Baby sitter (I wish I had one) and their meal-time accessories are the best. Also, where else can you get a potty to match your decor?!

  94. Michele on December 2nd, 2009 6:50 pm

We’re already fans of the BABYBJÖRN Toilet Trainer. We started with a single trainer to make sure it worked for our son and now we’re excited (after great success!) to commit to buying more for additional bathrooms and Grandma’s house. Yippie!

BabyBjorn makes great products! We own the Air Carrier and the Potty Seat both which are great quality. My family and I travel a lot throughout New England on mini weekend vacations visiting family and friends. I would love the chance to have and try the Bjorn travel crib. I would donate my (very functional but a pain in the neck clunker) pack n’ play to someone in need.
Of course I am a facebook fan, but just not enough time in the day for twitter right now.

This Travel Crib looks great and what a breeze to put up! I have a pack-n-play and it’s not easy. We travel to grandma’s often and I’m always bribing someone to set it up for me! With #3 on the way, this would sure be a great time saver! I LOVE and have the carrier – didn’t know there were bibs for them. Will certainly have to invest in at least one of those before this next one comes!

The Active Carrier would really benefit Vivienne and I as we go for walks, run errands, etc. My neck and shoulders bother me at times, so the more support the better.

This daddy loves that it is washable! One “oopsie” in the pack and play and it is packed out of the house in a jiffy! Love my Carrier Air and looking forward to getting my little guy on the potty. Would love some of the Kitchen stuff but can’t find it at stores around here.

I would love the baby bjorn travel crib! We’ve also added a potty chair plus the feeding smocks to our daughter’s wish list for Christmas. :) (The plate & spoon sets have been wonderful for feeding her.)

I’ve read really great things about the Smart Potty, and a mother can dream about her 15 month old boy using a potty, right? But it’s the Travel Crib Lite that I’ve had my eye on for a long time, and I’ve been too chicken to fork over the money. I’m crossing my fingers!

  150. Megan Bauer on December 4th, 2009 4:55 am

I love the Bjorn Babysitter! The crib would be great for my babysitter’s home!

I just saw the demonstration on the BABYBJORN Travel Crib Light and I absolutely love it. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to have a baby shower because my son came two months early. Most of his baby things were purchased by us and of course all these products cost money, so I would really love to win this crib and the feeding accessories. I’m crossing my fingers! Thanks!

I saw this travel crib in the store the other day, and thought it looked so great. The pack n play is so bulky and heavy to travel with. I also would like to try their potty. It’s my birthday, so I hope I get picked :)
