We have used Weleda and Burt's Bees Ointments which work great but prefer to mostly use the Avalon Organics A, D & E ointment. It works great as well! I was suprised not to see that mentioned here.

What a wonderful list! Thank you!

My little one is another of the kids who has a strong screaming reaction to California Baby Diaper Rash Cream. Did you turn up anything that indicated which ingredient is the likely culprit?

We have always used the Weleda products on our son from birth. We LOVE their calendula diaper cream, it does have a strong scent, but it's not unpleasant in the least. And if you are used to working with essential oils it's very soothing.

Since we cloth diaper our little man rarely gets diaper rashes, but when he does all we have to do is rub his bum down with our Weleda diaper cream and it's gone by the end of the day!!

What a helpful list! I really appreciate the work you put into gathering a list of diaper creams that won't be toxic for my little boy! We know how time consuming it can be :)

Haven't tried the california baby cream yet, but the wash is awesome. As Kathy says, there isn't much need for the cream if you use the wash after poops! I only need a cream at teething time now. :)
