Thank you for the recommendation! I have three brand new natural deodorants in my bathroom that just don't cut it. Looking forward to trying this one!

Thank you for your great blog - and for the tip about Pit Putty. I checked them out at the cosmeticsdatabase.com and found that not only two of their deodorants, but one of their shower gels, lotion sticks and two lip balms are listed as "0" on the toxicity scale. Thanks to your post, I ordered a big box of their products. I'm really excited to try it all!

@Lauren: I've been using Avalon Organics Vitamin C day lotion with SPF 15. I haven't gotten any breakouts but I can't promis eyou won't. I will say, I have pretty sensitive skin (mild rosacea) and it hasn't irritated it. I live in Florida so SPF is kind of crucial.

I too have been replacing all my personal products and it has been a long and PAINFUL process. I'm now trying to find a daily face sunscreen, SPF 20 or 30, that is paraben free. One that is not too oily since I'll be wearing it every day. I'd also like it to have good sun ratings on the EWG cosmetics database. I don't think one exists. I tried Vanicream, which was great on my body, but my face got pimples. What do you use for an everyday SPF moisturizer?

Something else worth mentioning with this company, they have a great 100% satisfaction guaranteed / deodorant satisfaction policy.

I just ordered the Lemongrass Rosemary deodorant to try out, and a lip balm (of course). I've been pretty happy with the JASON brand deodorant but I was bummed when I realized it has proplylene glycol in it. Arg!

Hi there just wanted to say that I really love your blog. Also thanks for posting about this Pit Putty, I am pretty sure I am going to buy some. None of the natural deodorants I have purchased work as well as I would like so I am going to give this one a try! Keep up the good work, I really appreciate seeing another person into natural stuff!
